The “Ecosystem” of Mobility

A thesis of AUDIO MOBIL Elektronik GmbH under CEO Thomas Stottan states the following:

Individual mobility will change in the coming years from the automobile to the intelligent networking of different modes of transport – the so-called Mobility 3.0. As Figures 1 and 2 show, a multitude of factors are responsible for generating mobility demand. It is noteworthy that significant differences occur in the influencing factors and the importance of individual segments and their use within the mobility ecosystem between urban and suburban or rural areas.

Thus, the requirements for different modes of transport in urban areas are different from those in rural areas – Figure 1 and Figure 2 demonstrate this impressively!
