duplicate of the disturbing sound, but with opposite polarity. In the

vehicle cabin, engine and driving noises can be compensated—also in the exhaust.

Hands-free systems improve intelligibility, and in the area of structure-borne noise,

(destructive) vibrations can be suppressed.
