Personal Audio System vs. 4D sound system

While a 4D sound system using structure-borne sound in the seat is currently being promoted in the S-Class, AUDIO MOBIL Elektronik GmbH has been working on this topic since 1999 and, in this context, ultimately introduced the “Personal Audio System”, which requires significantly less effort than Burmester’s.

By the way, data protection is also taken into account. Because outside the vehicle, as is otherwise common with calls via the hands-free system, the sound system cannot be heard.

In contrast to Burmester’s and Mercedes’ approach, AUDIO MOBIL’s Personal Audio System concept enables integration in all vehicle classes, from fully electric microcars to luxury sedans, making it affordable.

The Personal Audio System is currently installed in AUDIO MOBIL’s EPIC concept vehicle and has already been enthusiastically tested by several automotive manufacturers.
