32 Years of AUDIO MOBIL

AUDIO MOBIL Elektronik GmbH turns 32 and looks back on years full of innovations, projects, and know-how.

On March 3, 1989, Thomas Stottan founded AUDIO MOBIL in Salzburg. In addition to high-end audio systems, C-network telephones and fax devices were installed as a contract partner of the Austrian Post under automotive requirements—thus a precursor to the connected vehicle.

In 1999, the company headquarters was relocated from Salzburg to the discreetly located Ranshofen due to increased confidentiality requirements.

In 2007, in addition to a newly designed facility with optimized pathways between laboratories, test facilities, and production, a hermetically sealed test track was constructed that meets the confidentiality requirements of OEMs. Furthermore, ISO TS 16949 was introduced.

AUDIO MOBIL is regarded as an innovative development partner for renowned customers in the automotive industry and has already celebrated its 25th and 30th anniversaries in Ranshofen.
