Possible recipients in such cases may be legal representatives, competent authorities, offices, and courts.
If the recipients mentioned above are located in countries outside the European Union (so-called “third countries”), data protection regulations may apply there that do not guarantee the same level of data protection as in your country of residence. A transfer therefore only takes place in accordance with legal requirements if there is an adequacy decision by the European Commission for the third country, appropriate safeguards have been agreed with the recipient (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses have been concluded), the recipient participates in an approved certification system, binding internal data protection regulations pursuant to Art. 47 GDPR exist, or an exception pursuant to Art. 49 GDPR applies (e.g., because the transfer is necessary for the performance of a contract concluded between you and us or you have expressly consented to the transfer).
4. How Long Will Your Data Be Stored?
As soon as we no longer need your personal data for the purposes described above, it will be deleted, unless there are legal retention obligations or other (legally justified) reasons that make continued storage of your data necessary.
