  • Browser type and version;
  • Mobile phone model name and a generic device identifier;
  • Operating system used;
  • Website from which the user visits www.audio-mobil.com (referrer URL);

Type and purposes of processing:
This data is used to ensure a smooth connection, to further improve and make the website more user-friendly, to quickly find and fix errors, and to evaluate system security and stability. The data is not used to personally identify the visitor of this website.

Legal basis:
We process your IP address to protect our legitimate interests in accordance with Art 6 para 1 lit f GDPR, which result from the data processing purposes listed above.

2.2. Cookies & Plug-Ins

Type and purposes of processing:
We use so-called cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files that are temporarily stored on your device (e.g., laptop, tablet, smartphone) via your browser when you visit our website. The next time you visit our website, your browser accesses the relevant cookie(s) and sends it/them to the website’s server.

When you visit our website, initially only those cookies that are absolutely necessary for the operation of the website are set. Otherwise, we only process data by setting cookies after your consent.

Depending on their purpose and function, we divide cookies into the following categories:

  • Necessary cookies, which are absolutely essential for the website to function correctly (e.g., to enable basic functions such as page navigation and access to secure areas of the website).
  • Preference cookies, e.g., to store your preferred language.
  • Statistics cookies, to understand how you interact with the website by collecting and analyzing information anonymously.
  • Marketing cookies, to follow visitors on the website and to carry out targeted marketing activities.

Detailed information on the cookies we use, in particular regarding the provider, purpose, and storage duration, can be found at https://www.audio-mobil.com/cookies, in the details of the cookies used in our cookie banner, and below in this data protection information.

Legal bases:
We process your personal data using cookies to protect our legitimate interests in accordance with Art 6 para 1 lit f GDPR (improvement of the website and online service offerings) or, if your consent is required for this and we therefore ask for your consent, based on Art 6 para 1 lit a GDPR.

Revocation of your consent (Opt-out):
Insofar as the processing of cookie data is based on your consent, you can revoke your consent at any time by using the corresponding opt-out options at https://www.audio-mobil.com/cookies and deactivating the respective service. The revocation of your consent does not affect the legality of the cookie use up to the revocation.

To generally prevent the setting of cookies, you can set your browser so that cookies are only created or rejected with your consent. However, we point out that without the setting of cookies, areas of the website may be restricted or not usable at all.

2.2.1. Use of Google Analytics

If you have consented to the use of cookies, our website uses the service “Google Analytics”, which is offered by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”), for the purpose of analyzing website usage by users. The service uses “cookies” (= text files that are stored on your device and enable the analysis of your use of this website). The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. AUDIO MOBIL uses IP anonymization, so your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the AUDIO MOBIL website, to compile reports on website activities, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage to AUDIO MOBIL. The anonymized IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data to establish a personal reference.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we point out that in this case, you may not be able to use all functions of the websites to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your anonymized IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link – http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
For reasons of statistical evaluation, we also use Google Analytics to analyze data from AdWords or the Double-Click cookie. If you do not wish this, you can prevent it by making the appropriate settings under the link – http://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/?hl=de. However, we would like to point out that the functionality of the website www.audio-mobil.com may be limited by the above settings.

ATTENTION! Data transfer to the USA takes place or cannot be excluded as part of this service.

2.2.2. Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps to display a map. Google Maps is operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). If you have consented to the use of cookies, data will be transferred to Google and stored on Google’s servers.

The terms of use for Google Maps can be found under Terms of Use for Google Maps at https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps/. Detailed information can be found in Google’s privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

ATTENTION! Data transfer to the USA takes place or cannot be excluded as part of this service.

2.2.3. Integration of YouTube Videos

YouTube videos are embedded on our website, which are stored on www.youtube.com and can be played directly from our website. We use the “extended data protection mode” option provided by YouTube, which means that no data about you as a user is transferred to YouTube if you do not play the videos. Only when you play the videos are YouTube cookies stored on your computer and data transferred to the YouTube operator Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). If you play videos stored on YouTube, at least the following data is transferred to Google: IP address and cookie ID, the specific address of the page accessed on our site, browser language setting, system date and time of access, and your browser identifier. The data transfer occurs regardless of whether you are logged into a YouTube user account or whether you do not have a user account. If you are logged in, this data is directly assigned to your account. You can prevent this assignment by logging out before activating the start button. YouTube or Google stores this data as usage profiles and uses it for purposes of advertising, market research, and/or needs-based design of its website. You have a right to object to the creation of these usage profiles, which you must address directly to Google as the operator of YouTube. Further information on YouTube’s data protection is provided by Google at www.google.at/intl/de/policies/privacy/. By playing the YouTube videos, you agree to the data processing by Google. We do not process the affected data.

ATTENTION! Data transfer to the USA takes place or cannot be excluded as part of this service.

2.3 YouTube Channel

We use a YouTube Channel from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). If you use our YouTube Channel and its functions, you do so at your own risk.

Information on the processing of your personal data by Google can be found here: www.google.at/intl/de/policies/privacy/. We point out that we have no influence on Google’s data protection regulations or terms of use.

By using YouTube, your personal data will be processed by Google or its affiliated companies and may also be transferred to other countries outside the EU.

ATTENTION! Data transfer to the USA takes place or cannot be excluded as part of this service.

As the operator of YouTube, Google processes your voluntarily entered data such as name, username, email address, phone number. Furthermore, Google also processes content that you create, upload, or receive from others when using the services. This includes, for example, photos and videos you have saved or your comments on YouTube videos.

If you have a YouTube account, Google can also record your visits to these websites and assign them to your profile using cookies and similar technologies. Based on this data, content or advertising can be offered tailored to you. Further information on this can be found at https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/example/your-activity-on-other-sites-and-apps.html.

We point out that YouTube also receives data from you if you do not have a YouTube account yourself, but, for example, watch content, visit third-party websites and apps, or use YouTube’s services. This may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, information about the previously visited website and the pages you visited, your location, your mobile provider, the device you are using (including device ID and application ID), the search terms you used, and cookie information.

You can restrict the processing of your data in the general settings of your Google account. In addition, Google also offers specific privacy settings for YouTube. More detailed information on Google’s data protection or privacy settings can be found at https://policies.google.com/technologies/product-privacy?hl=de&gl=de and at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de&gl=de#infochoices.

We do not collect any personal data about you directly via our YouTube Channel itself. However, if you are logged into YouTube and communicate with us, we also process your personal data such as your username and the content published under your account. This is the case if we share or reply to your comments or create a post that refers to your profile. The content you freely publish on YouTube can thus be included in our offering and made accessible to our followers. We process your data in our legitimate interest in accordance with Art 6 para 1 lit f GDPR (public relations and marketing, information and interaction opportunities for and with our users and visitors).

2.4 Pages on Facebook and Instagram

When you visit our pages on the social networks Facebook or Instagram, each operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Block J, Serpentine Avenue, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Meta”), personal data is processed in connection with this visit. Please note that Meta collects and processes certain information regardless of whether you are registered or logged in to Facebook or Instagram. Information about the processing of personal data by Meta can be found in the privacy notices (https://www.facebook.com/policy.php) and the cookie policies (https://www.facebook.com/policies/cookies/). We point out that we have no influence on Meta’s data protection or cookie regulations or terms of use.

We operate our Facebook and Instagram pages to present our company to Facebook and Instagram users and people who visit our pages and to communicate with these people. The operation of our Facebook and Instagram pages is therefore in our legitimate interest in accordance with Art 6 para 1 lit f GDPR (information and interaction opportunities for and with our users and visitors). For this purpose, we process personal data (such as your username, content and time of your messages, comments made, likes) if you send us a message and/or comment on, share, or otherwise react to one of our posts and we then interact with you (e.g., by replying to your messages). What additional information is visible to us in your public profile on Facebook or Instagram is determined by you in the settings in your profile.

We use Meta’s Insights functions on Facebook and Instagram, through which we receive anonymized statistics on the use and utilization of our Facebook and Instagram pages. This data is collected with the help of cookies and processed by Meta in a personalized form; we ourselves do not receive access to this data in a personalized form.

Through these cookies, we receive statistics (such as the total number of page views, information on “likes”, page activities, followers, reach, demographics) that help us manage and improve the marketing of our own activities. With regard to this processing, we are considered joint controllers with Meta within the meaning of Art 26 GDPR. The essential content of the agreement between the joint controllers is provided by Meta at https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum.

The cookies are stored for up to two years after these cookies are set or updated. Stored cookies can be deleted at any time. You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser accordingly.

The processing of the Insights data provided to us takes place in our legitimate interest in accordance with Art 6 para 1 lit f GDPR (target group-specific control of advertising).

The responsibility for the processing of Insights data and the fulfillment of your rights under the GDPR lies primarily with Meta. For requests to exercise your data subject rights (see below) as well as the revocation of your consent, please use the forms linked in Meta’s data protection information on Insights data (https://de-de.facebook.com/legal/terms/information_about_page_insights_data) or contact Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Block J, Serpentine Avenue, Dublin 4, Ireland by post.

ATTENTION! Data transfer to the USA takes place or cannot be excluded as part of this service.

2.5 LinkedIn Page

When you visit our LinkedIn pages, personal data is processed in connection with this visit. This occurs regardless of whether you are registered or logged in to LinkedIn. Information about the processing of personal data by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland (“LinkedIn”) can be found in the privacy notices at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy. We point out that we have no influence on LinkedIn’s data protection regulations.

ATTENTION! Data transfer to the USA takes place or cannot be excluded as part of this service.

If you are logged into your LinkedIn account and visit or follow our LinkedIn page, this can be linked to your account and thus to the personal data you publicly disclose there (name, description, employees, professional experience, skills, etc.).

We use LinkedIn to inform you about our company, our products and services, and to contact you if necessary. The operation of the LinkedIn pages is therefore in our legitimate interest in accordance with Art 6 para 1 lit f GDPR (information and interaction opportunities for and with our users and visitors).

Insofar as we use the LinkedIn “Page Insights” function, we act as a joint controller with LinkedIn. For this purpose, LinkedIn collects, among other things, the IP address, timestamp, page activities, and demographic data via cookies, if the user is an active member of LinkedIn. We point out that we only receive this data in anonymized form and therefore cannot pass it on in a personalized form. The cookies are stored for up to two years after these cookies are set or updated. Stored cookies can be deleted at any time. You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser accordingly. We may place advertisements on LinkedIn and use the Insights data provided by LinkedIn to evaluate the behavior of our target group or users in the context of interaction with our page. This is done in our legitimate interest in accordance with Art 6 para 1 lit f GDPR (target group-specific control of advertising), with primary responsibility lying with LinkedIn. The agreement on joint responsibility concluded with LinkedIn can be found here: https://legal.linkedin.com/pages-joint-controller-addendum. For requests to exercise your data subject rights, please primarily use the corresponding functions in your LinkedIn account or contact LinkedIn directly. If you assert your data subject rights against us, we will forward them to LinkedIn in accordance with the agreement.

2.6 Contact Form

Type and purposes of processing:

If you contact us via a form on our website, we process the personal data you have provided in the form (e.g., name, email, subject (optional), your individual message, upload of various files (optional)) for the purposes of contacting you and, if applicable, business processing.

Legal bases:

We process your personal data based on the implementation of pre-contractual measures or for the fulfillment of a contract in accordance with Art 6 para 1 lit b GDPR or to protect our legitimate interests in accordance with Art 6 para 1 lit f GDPR (customer service).

2.7 Webshop

Type and purposes of processing:

If you order goods in our webshop at https://www.audio-mobil.com/merchandise/, we process your personal data provided during the order (e.g., salutation, first name, last name, company (optional), contact details or payment information) as well as other transaction-related data (order number, order date, order quantity, estimated delivery time, product purchased, price, shipping method, shipping costs (if charged), voucher code + voucher amount (if used)) for the purpose of processing the order (including delivery and invoicing).

You have generally provided us with this data yourself or it was generated by us during the order process. The processing of this data is necessary for the conclusion of the contract. If you do not provide us with certain data, this could result in us not being able to conclude the contract with you, not being able to provide the requested service, or not being able to fulfill the stated purposes in accordance with the contract or legal requirements.

In our webshop, you have the option to create a personal customer account. There you can store your personal information and thus make your shopping experience even easier. Through the customer account, we provide you with additional functions, such as displaying your previous orders, address management, and newsletter configuration. If you wish to set up a customer account, we require your email address and a freely selectable password (this will be stored encrypted) in addition to your order data. The email address then serves as the access ID for your customer account together with the password. However, you also have the option to place orders as a guest (without a customer account).

We offer you efficient and secure payment options in our webshop and use banks or credit institutions as well as payment providers for this purpose. The data processed by the payment provider includes master data (such as name/company, address), payment data (such as account or credit card number, invoices), contract data (such as subject of contract, number and description of products purchased, term), usage and communication data (such as visited websites, access times, IP addresses). This data is required for the transaction to be carried out. The entered payment data is only processed by the payment provider, i.e., we do not receive account or credit card data, but only information confirming or denying the payment. The payment provider may independently carry out a risk and fraud check to determine whether the selected payment method can be offered, and for this purpose, may process further personal data under its own responsibility. The terms and conditions and privacy notices of the respective payment provider apply.

Payment providers used: PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg; data protection information available at https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full; Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland; data protection information available at https://stripe.com/at/privacy.

ATTENTION! Data transfer to the USA takes place or cannot be excluded as part of this service.

Legal bases:

We process your personal data based on the implementation of pre-contractual measures or for the fulfillment of a contract in accordance with Art 6 para 1 lit b GDPR or to protect our legitimate interests in accordance with Art 6 para 1 lit f GDPR (ensuring smooth business operations and secure business operations).

2.8 Applicants

We appreciate your interest in our job offers. If you apply to us, we process the personal data you provide. This includes, in particular, your personal details (e.g., first and last name, title, date of birth, address, email address, telephone number, cover letter, CV), data on the chosen advertisement or the desired position (e.g., job title), and data on qualifications (e.g., education, professional experience, certificates, language skills). Please note that the specific data we process depends on your own information.

It may also be that we have legitimately received this data from third parties (e.g., recruitment consultants or personnel service providers).

Type and purposes of processing:

Your personal data will be processed for the purposes of processing your application / checking your suitability for an advertised position, contacting you, and keeping records (with your consent).

Should an employment relationship be concluded, you will be separately informed about the processing of your data within the scope of your employment relationship.

For your application to be processed, you must provide the personal data necessary for the decision on establishing an employment relationship. Applicants are not obliged to provide us with personal data; however, if no data is provided, we cannot process applications. Please do not submit special categories of data in your application documents (e.g., religious beliefs or data on physical impairments), as we do not require these for the application process.

Should a legal dispute arise during the application process, the necessary personal data will be used for appropriate legal action.

Should we intend to (further) process your data for other purposes, we will inform you separately and, if legally required, obtain your consent.

Legal bases:
We generally process your personal data based on the implementation of pre-contractual measures or for the fulfillment of a contract in accordance with Art 6 para 1 lit b GDPR or to protect our legitimate interests in accordance with Art 6 para 1 lit f GDPR (evaluation of suitability for an employment relationship). If applicable, processing is also based on Art 6 para 1 lit f in conjunction with Art 9 para 2 lit f GDPR (assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims). Insofar as processing cannot be based on the aforementioned legal bases, it is based on your consent (Art 6 para 1 lit a GDPR; possibly Art 9 para 2 lit a GDPR), for example, when keeping your application on file.

Who receives your applicant data?

Within our company, only those persons and departments who need your personal data for the decision on establishing an employment relationship (e.g., the relevant specialist department to which you have applied) receive it. Should a legal dispute arise during the application process, the necessary personal data will be transmitted to legal representatives and authorities for appropriate legal action. It may also be that we transmit personal data to our processors (e.g., IT service providers) during the application process. We only work with processors who offer sufficient guarantees for secure data processing. Otherwise, your data will not be transmitted to any other recipients. A transfer to third countries is not planned.

Storage period:
The data required for processing your application/checking your suitability for an advertised position (employment/service/apprenticeship relationship) is generally stored for a period of seven months from the rejection of the application, based on the applicable legal provisions. For any longer retention (an additional 2 years) of your application, your consent will be obtained beforehand. Further storage only takes place if this is necessary for the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims or for the fulfillment of our obligations or is legally/officially mandatory.

Revocation of your consent:
You can revoke your consent for keeping your application on file at any time by email to office@audio-mobil.com. The revocation of your consent does not affect the legality of the processing carried out based on your consent until the revocation.

3. Do we share your data?

Only insofar as this is necessary and permissible for the purposes listed above (e.g., for orders via the webshop), we may transmit personal data to other departments or companies of the starlim and sterner group (https://www.starlim-sterner.com/kontakt/standorte/), which support us, for example, in keeping our accounts and complying with our legal and tax obligations, or to third parties such as legal advisors, tax advisors, auditors, or other business partners (e.g., logistics partners for the execution and processing of deliveries). Furthermore, your personal data may also be processed on our behalf by our processors (e.g., IT service providers or payment providers). These processors are contractually obliged to comply with data protection regulations.

Otherwise, unless expressly stated otherwise in this data protection information, we do not pass on your personal data to third parties, unless this is necessary for the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims or for the fulfillment of our obligations or is legally/officially mandatory. Possible recipients in this case may be legal representatives, competent authorities, offices, and courts.

If the recipients listed above are located in countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area (in so-called “third countries”), data protection regulations there may not guarantee the same level of data protection as in your country of residence. In this case, there may be a risk that your data could be collected and processed by local authorities and that your data subject rights could not be enforced. A transfer therefore only takes place in accordance with legal requirements if an adequacy decision by the European Commission exists for the third country, if appropriate safeguards have been agreed with the recipient (e.g., EU standard contractual clauses have been concluded), if the recipient participates in an approved certification system, if binding internal data protection rules exist in accordance with Art 47 GDPR, or if an exception in accordance with Art 49 GDPR exists (e.g., because the transfer is necessary for the fulfillment of a contract concluded between you and us or you have expressly consented to the transfer).

4. How long will your data be stored?

Unless a different storage period is expressly stated, your personal data will be deleted as soon as we no longer need it for the purposes described above, provided there are no legal retention obligations or other (legally justified) reasons that require continued retention of your data.

5. Your Rights

As a data subject, you have the following rights under the GDPR:

  • You can request information about the processing of your data (Art 15 GDPR);
  • You can request the rectification of inaccurate data (Art 16 GDPR);
  • You can, if applicable, request the erasure of your data (Art 17 GDPR);
  • You can, if applicable, request the restriction of the processing of your data (Art 18 GDPR);
  • You can, if applicable, object to the processing if there are reasons arising from your particular situation (Art 21 GDPR);
  • You can, if applicable, request the transfer of your data in a common format if you have provided us with this data (Art 20 GDPR);
  • If the processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, irrespective of any further consents. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
  • You can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

Please note that we may not always be obliged to comply with a request for erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, or data transfer. This is subject to legal requirements and an assessment on a case-by-case basis. If you have any questions regarding your personal data, please contact us at office@audio-mobil.com.

6. Miscellaneous

This data protection information may be adjusted as needed. We will inform you separately about significant changes.
